Free Running Calculators

Choose a calculator around the number you already know and the result you need. You can convert a treadmill setting to outdoor pace, build race checkpoints, combine running and walking intervals, compare a hilly effort with flat pace, or estimate training ranges from a recent result.

Choose inputs that match the session

Use a measured distance and complete elapsed time when reviewing a run. For race planning, begin with a recent performance under reasonably similar conditions. Training ranges are starting points rather than required targets; hills, heat, wind, fatigue and the purpose of the session can justify a slower pace.

Split tables assume an even pace, while grade-adjusted and run/walk results are models. Keep units consistent, preserve seconds when entering a time and compare the output with effort and recent training rather than relying on one number alone.
